Sino ang CFD?

"But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts. Always be READY TO GIVE AN ANSWER to everyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, with HUMILITY and FEAR."

A CFD is tasked simply to defend and proclaim our CATHOLIC FAITH to those who are blinded. A task that is not really easy; for it is a solemn obligation of everybody who aspire to be defenders of Faith. Yet the question is: Is it merely defending and proclaiming the Faith without a pure and humble heart?

Not to be a humbe defender of the Faith, just even not decent or not having that sense of moral uprightness is a shame to the Apostolate! It is the mere reason that every Chapter has a formation inorder for its members to be Spiritually formed and ready to represent to the outside World what a real Christian is. Yet, unfortunately, commonly we always observe and see this misguided CFD Members tend to argue wrongfully with foolish approaches. It made me wonder, is there a proclaimation of Faith happening by that? Or, do they sound defending the Faith or just engaging to useless debates?

Then, what a CFD should be?
That question for the fact, every member of the Apostolate knew the answer already yet just failed to act it. Not just for mere acting but simply for real and full of love. A CFD should proclaim our Faith with humility and fear as what St. Peter said; to be ready to provide reasons concerning our Faith, means with sense of sincere intention. To provide enlightenment among others who are blinded and to defend the Faith against attacks for the sake of giving clarity to the ambiguity and false accusations done. And most of all, to win souls. And how to win souls? We know it, BE LIKE CHRIST! ALL FOR HIS GLORY!

Here's the sweet and winning words of Pope Peter for us:

Finally, all of you be like-minded, compassionate, loving as brothers, tenderhearted, courteous, not rendering evil for evil, or insult for insult; but instead blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing. For, “He who would love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit. Let him turn away from evil and do good. Let him seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears open to their prayer; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”  --1 PETER 3:8-12

Let's contemplate brethren! Let's help form ourselves SPIRITUALLY.
Be a CFD of example; not of bad.

UNDERSTANDING WHAT SOCIAL MEDIA CAN DO

Other people underestimated the Social Media World. They think it is just limited as medium of Communication, as for entertainment, as for social networking, as for personal use or as for past time. They have not think that Social Media is a very vast World you can ever imagine. It's range is unlimited and its territory is immeasurable. And there are some points we have to consider; first, Social Media is now one of the biggest asset for Business. There are lots of people who became successful in their business/es thru the use of Social Media. It's role in promoting and advertising products is so huge, it can reach any individual around the globe. Second; Social Media consist the largest audience for Entertainment. Anybody who has the passion for entertainment can be famous thru Social Media. Third; Social Media for Politics. It played a great role during last elections anywhere in the World.

Fourth, Social Media for Bad Influences. That is the most alarming among all. Due to its very vast realm, Social Media became the largest channel of the evils in promoting their influences to the people. They became so influential when it comes to wrong or false entertainment that leads to mind poisoning. Such as promoting violence, immorality and nudity. People tend to follow & believe them. There are even secret groups that those members are promoting, discussing and even performing nudity and any form of sexual activities. Social Media is also the field of troubles, some people are quarelling and fighting here. Social Media is also the reason why there are lots of people who easily judge others and bash a certain person. It is also the field of false competition, of being fame or known. Social Media also become a wrong example to children; for they can see here a variety of shows, it is also bad for their health to stay for long in front of their gadgets and most of all, they cannot do their lesson or household chores. Social Media is good if it is being utilized properly.

Fifth, Social Media for MODERN EVANGELIZATION.
As an advocate in pursuing awareness for Social Media ethiquets, I really stand for it. For only thru Social Media Evangelization, we can stabilize the content of the Social Media. Thru it we can counter the evil. So there's really no mistake if you are going to post prayers, Bible verses, inspirational lines, or about God related statements here. Because if you gonna do that, you have contributed and became one among those advocates who promote righteousness. Due to the FOURTH POINT, the Church came to the idea of reaching and connecting to the people thru social media. One reason is, people is no longer interested in going to Church, reading the Bible or going to Religious gatherings. So its an initiative of the Church that if people cannot go to the Church, so the Church will go to the people thru Social Media.

Think before you click. For one mistake may ruin other's life or you may hurt others.
